  • New Video Premiere – “Nights In Spanish Harlem”

Throughout 2023, while we return to the studio to work on our next album, we will be releasing a series of videos for the tracks from our album “Dancing On A Volcano” until the whole album can be enjoyed in visual form as well as audio.

The first of those videos, for the song “Nights In Spanish Harlem”, goes live tomorrow and is premiered in this feature in Rock At Night!

    From the article:

“The video captures the mental picture of the underworld and decadence of New York City–yet the music is upbeat and, dare I say, “danceable.””

Huge thanks to Rock At Night for doing this premiere and for the nice comments about the song and video!

The video also features still shots of Ashley Marsh, who previously starred in our video for “The Girls Of LA” last year. She’s an up-and-coming model and actress, so be sure to give her page a follow!

  • New Single/Video – “Heaven On High Street East”

    ANNOUNCEMENT:

We have a new single and video out today, taken from our album!

And thanks so much to Amplify Music Mag for this premiere feature on “Heaven On High Street East”:

PREMIERE // ‘Heaven on High Street East’ by WEIMAR transforms abuse into beautiful single

“In a string of releases this year, where Manchester art-rock quartet Weimar has gone from strength to strength, today we have the pleasure of presenting their new single ‘Heaven on High Street East’, which addresses the serious problem of abusive relationships in suburbia, and the vapid existence of the perpetrators of domestic abuse. Diverse, quirky and always enjoyable, Weimar always delivers the goods.”

Thanks also to Shameless Promotion & German Shepherd Records

  • New Single/Video – “I Smashed The Looking Glass”

We’re happy to announce the premiere of the video for “I Smashed The Looking Glass”, the second single release from our album “Dancing On A Volcano“!

And special thanks to Amplify Music Mag for doing this feature on the video:

PREMIERE //  WEIMAR is back with feel-good ripper video ‘I Smashed The Looking Glass’

“I think it’s fair to say that this track is a great melange of sounds we discovered earlier – mostly in the 80s by bands like Dire Straits, The B-52s and Hoodoo Gurus – but brought together in a way that neither of the aforementioned bands had done so. Well done on that Weimar.”

“I Smashed The Looking Glass” features a special guest contribution on theremin from Loop-Aznavour of Adventures of Salvador, our German Shepherd Records labelmates. A particularly apt release date, on the birthday of Leon Theremin himself!
